Inter RAO — Engineering to perform design and exploration works for Rosneft’s Vostok Oil power facilities
Inter RAO — Engineering LLC and Rosneft PJSC subsidiaries (Vostok Oil LLC and NGH-Nedra LLC) signed three contracts on performance of design and exploration works (DEW) for the construction of power facilities of the Vostok Oil project. The contracts were signed during the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
According to the terms and conditions of the contracts, Inter RAO — Engineering LLC will carry out a full complex of design and exploration works for priority power projects of the Vostok Oil project. That is, the first two power plants, the Irkinsky gas-turbine power station with a capacity of about 870 MW and the Bukhta Sever oil power station of 214 MW, as well as an electric power substation in the Payakhsky field and a power line from the Irkinsky GTPP to this substation.
For reference: in 2020 Inter RAO PJSC, Vostok Oil (a company in Rosneft PJSC Group), and Taymyrneftegaz JSC (member of Neftegazholding) signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of construction of power infrastructure. The document provides construction of power plants and a power grid complex for power supply of a group of oil and gas fields of the Vostok Oil project. The total power of the new generation plants will amount to 3.5 GW.
